From Center City take Roosevelt Blvd. north past Adams Avenue.
Move to the outer lanes to exit at Oxford Circle (Cheltenham Avenue).
Go most of the way around the circle and take Castor Avenue north.
Continue for about 1.6 mils to St. Vincent Street (3 blocks before Cottman Avenue.
Turn left on St. Vincent Street and continue for about 0.6 miles to Pennway.
Turn right on Pennway.
Cottman Avenue is one block north and the Recreation Center is on the left.
